This exercise, following a classic technical sequence in the “Y” shape,
develops in 1 v 1 duel where the defender has to close down the space toward the center to save the goal space and to avoid the finishing phase of the opponent.

After a sequence of wall passes (1), one of the two players on the top of the “Y” receives the ball (2) and pass it toward a teammate who is dropping from the center (3).
The player on the opposite cone becomes defender and he must run toward the center to close the goal space and to avoid the finishing phase od the opponent (4 and 5).
If the defender wins the ball, he can finish the move too.
