First weekly session (Tuesday, October the 24th), with my U14 team
The session is organized as follows:
• Technical warm-up under passive and active pressure
• Development of the same exercises with finishing phase
• Small sided game to coach the individual duels in midfield area
• Final match
The main objectives of the session are
to work on 1 v 1 duels, during the defensive phase, on the times of pressure against the opponent and on the recovery of the ball possession
Clicking on the picture or on the pdf format you can download the session.
This week will be focused on
coaching of the pressure times against the opponent and of the consequent ball possession in this situation, keeping the intensity of the exercises very high.
Probably this will be one of the topic I will focus on throughout the rest of the season, thinking about the players I am coaching.
The exercises I used in this session are:
passive and active 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 3 v 3 (divided in 1 v 1s) during the warm-up and in full active form durint the following developments to finish and in the small sided game.
The final game is asked to be played at the maximum speed of play; not only about ball passings.
