This exercise, is a second development of a classic technical sequence in the “Y” shape.
The result is a 1 v 1 duel where the defender has to close down the space toward the center to save the goal space and to avoid the finishing phase of the opponent.

This exercise is another development of a classic passing and receiving sequence on the “Y” shape, with a 1 v 1 duel,
where the defender must close down the center area save the goal space and to out pressure against the finishing phase of the opponent.
The goalkeeper passes the ball to the first receiver,
who is freeing from a potential marker (1).
He then passes the ball forward to a second teammate (2), who has to move to receive and to decide (3) who is the player between the vertexes of the “Y” he wants to combine a wall pass with (4 – 5) before shooting on goal.
The player on the opposite cone becomes defender and has must close down the center area save the goal space and to out pressure against the finishing phase of the opponent (6);
if he wins the ball, he can finish in the same goal.
